API Support DCS Software Engineer - Cramlington
Natasha Young at CK Group is recruiting for a Distributed Control Systems Software Engineer to join a leading pharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing organisation. This is a six month contract role based at the clients state of the art manufacturing site in Cramlington.
The Company: Our client is a multi national pharmaceutical company who provide end to end pharmaceutical development and manufacturing solution comprises capabilities in formulation development for API and finished dose, manufacturing at all scales and packaging services.
The Location: The role is based at our client's state of the art manufacturing site in Cramlington which has over 25 years' experience in the manufacturing of APIs and we are experts in process scale up and technology transfer with a focus on safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
The Role: The Distributed Control Systems Software Engineer primarily provide high level technical support to API Operations. In addition the role will also involve supporting the API Support Manager to deliver the site's capital C3 DCS upgrade project early in 2018. The successful candidate will contribute to the implementation of improvements to processes and software solutions to improve performance and efficiency. You will design and control software in line with the principles of GAMP and investigate and implement corrective actions to unplanned events or observations in relation to product quality.
Your Background: You will have extensive experience of software design for automated control of batch chemical/pharmaceutical processes and a proven background within GAMP and chemical/pharmaceutical environments.
The Benefits: The client is offering the chance to join a fast paced team, and an hourly rate of up to £45 dependant upon experience.
