CHP Engineer
CK Technical are recruiting for a CHP Engineer to join a company in the energy industry at their site based North of Cambridge on a permanent basis.
The Company:
Our client run a renewable energy plant in based between Cambridge and Ely which houses Europe's largest anaerobic digestion plant.
Salary:
Our client will consider junior and experienced candidates so are advertising a salary between £20,000 - £40,000 per annum.
Location:
This role is located between Cambridge and Ely.
CHP Engineer Role:
Your main duties will be the maintenance and upkeep of our client's co-generation area.
You will be working on:
- Jenbacher CHPs.
- Organic Rankine cycle (ORC) systems.
- A heat management room.
- A biomass upgrader.
- A biomass pelleting facility.
Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have
- Previous experience working on CHPs and co-generation equipment.
- A qualification in Mechanical or Electrical maintenance.
- A full UK driving license.
