Natasha Young at CK Group is recruiting for an E&I Engineer, with an instrumentation bias, to work with a leading, global chemical solutions supplier. This company has a long history of pioneering technologically advanced epoxy, acrylic and polyurethane-based polymer products. The E&I Engineer will be working on site in Llanelli, South Wales on a permanent basis. This is an opportunity to join a company who work tirelessly to develop tooling and composite materials and adhesives to the highest quality.

The E&I Engineer will manage all electrical and instrumentation activity in the chemical manufacturing site. The successful candidate with manage a small team of E&I technicians to deliver improves equipment reliability and manage E&I projects across a COMAH.

The E&I Engineer should have the following skills and experience:

  • A strong track record of developing E&I maintenance programs and equipment reliability targets
  • A working knowledge of COMAH, process safety and/or Hazardous Area Classification
  • Familiarity with Maximo of SAP CMMS would be advantageous
  • Experience in the design, installation and maintenance of SIF's and understanding of the relevant legislative frame work (standards IEC 61511 and IEC 61508) would be beneficial.
