CK Group is recruiting for a Electrical Engineer to join a company in the Pharmaceutical industry at their site based in Ballydine on a contract basis for 12 months and has an hourly rate of between €28.80 to €48.96 depending upon experience.

This role will be working at the Ballydine site which exports to more than 30 countries, including Japan, the US and much of Europe. It produces active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) for use by subsidiaries throughout the world, including late stage clinical APIs. The site includes a formulation, R&D and manufacturing facility, which supports our clients initiative to bring new medicines to market more effectively. It develops innovative ways to formulate new products from pilot to commercial scale, and supplies tablets for late stage clinical trials, launch and early stage supply.
As Electrical Engineer you will report into the Site Projects Lead and will support site Capital & Expense projects on site.
- Review and approve new projects electrical design and specifications. Ensure install is carried out to the specified requirements.
- Execute strategic projects for the site.
- Track and report progress as required against project deliverables.
- Ensure there is a strong safety culture and performance in the execution of the capital/expense projects.
To succeed in this role you will hold a relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering and have worked in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries. You will have a good working knowledge of ATEX environments and experience in the design of the main Building Services Electrical systems such as MV/LV distribution and protection, Lighting systems, Small Power, Lighting, Generators, UPS and Fire safety and Detection systems.
