Field Service Engineer
George Truman at CK Technical is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a company in the material categorisation and instrumentation industry on a permanent basis.
Our client is is a global provider of solutions for material characterization with best-in-class instrumentation and application expertise
Our client is headquartered in Hexton, Hertfordshire. This is a field based role that will cover the south of the UK.
Your main duties will be calibration, repair and maintenance of material characterization equipment for a variety of clients in a variety of locations and environments.
Further responsibilities will include:
- Proactive prioritisation of your workload.- Working to relevant industry and health and safety standards.
- Represent the company by providing excellent customer service and technical expertise.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- A qualification in electronics, instrumentation or a similar discipline.
- Experience in a field role.
- Experience working on scientific instruments.
The successful candidate will receive a company car, laptop and mobile to carry out the role. They will also receive comprehensive training in order to be successful in the role; They will be trained in the field with an experienced engineer and at a two week training course in the United States to become internally accredited.
