LIMS & Software Developer
George Truman at CK Technical is recruiting for a LIMS Developer to join a company in the Pharmaceutical industry at their Yorkshire site on a permanent basis.
Our client is developing cancer immunotherapies combining biotherapeutics and tumour targeted chemotherapy to address the lack of a durable response to current immunotherapies. There is an exciting and innovative environment within the Company with varied opportunities to develop your skill set.
This role is located in Wetherby. The site is easily commutable from Leeds, Harrogate and York. The office is a state of the art building ample free parking.
Your main duties will be:
Configuration and customisation of off the shelf laboratory information management systems
Undertake independent development, defining requirements with customers, proposing solutions and developing LIMS applications.
Manual software testing and writing automated test cases.
Further responsibilities will include:
Helping create and maintain application documentation (i.e. user manuals, training documents)
Supporting, updating and reporting against databases including SQL Server using TSQL.
Learn and support 3rd party applications in use in the company.
The ideal candidate for this role will have DETAILS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- A degree in computing/scientific/technical/engineering discipline.
Full life cycle software development experience.
1 years commercial LIMS experience, a recognised LIMS certification and experience in LabWare LIMS ecosystem.
