Jobs in Engineering and IT are on the Rise

Great news!

Since March 2020, job hunters have seen a sharp decline in new jobs being listed globally. However, due to the recent lifting of some lockdown policies, engineering and IT job postings are now stabilising, particularly in the science sectors. This means that now could be the perfect time to start the hunt for your new role.

Globally, job postings have stabilised for the first time since February, according to Indeed.

Reassuringly, job vacancies are on the rise after hitting their lowest at the beginning of May.

IT and engineering roles at CK have not seen a dramatic drop despite the pandemic, however client jobs appear to be on the up.

The job site Reed suggests that there has been a 5% increase in IT jobs, and a 4% increase in engineering jobs.

Here at CK Technical, we have jobs available in many key industries including medical devices, energy, pharmaceutical, blockchain and life sciences.
