Each week CK Engineers will be trying to give you a picture of the state of one of the disciplines we work with, the Validation Engineers jobs market. Whether you are a Validation Engineer looking for a new role or an employer seeking new Validation Engineers to join your team, keeping up to date with industry news that impacts you is essential.
Our tracking is based on each week screening some of the UKs leading vacancy boards for how many Validation Engineer jobs have been advertised within the last 7 days. Please bear in mind that there is likely to be some repetition across jobs boards and some duplicate posting but our goal is to build up a picture of trends over time.
This week’s summary is for week commencing 13th September 2016 for the past week and relates to Validation Engineer vacancies posted on:
- The Engineer
- Just Engineers
Our results showed that from these job boards a total of 382 Validation Engineer jobs were published in the last week,
- 298 permanent roles
- 84 contract roles
After several weeks of positive growth across the permanent and contract engineering job market, this week we have seen the contract recruitment market decline dramatically with a 40% drop in job numbers. In reflection there has also been a small increase in permanent roles. However, the contract market did have an unexplainable increase last week and the numbers we are seeing now are more like the average we have been seeing all summer. Over the next two weeks we should begin to see jobs for both contract types grow in numbers.
