Each week CK Engineers will be trying to give you a picture of the state of one of the disciplines we work with, the Validation Engineers jobs market. Whether you are a Validation Engineer looking for a new role or an employer seeking new Validation Engineers to join your team, keeping up to date with industry news that impacts you is essential.
Our tracking is based on each week screening some of the UKs leading vacancy boards for how many Validation Engineer jobs have been advertised within the last 7 days. Please bear in mind that there is likely to be some repetition across jobs boards and some duplicate posting but our goal is to build up a picture of trends over time.
This week’s summary is for week commencing 14th March 2016 for the past week and relates to Validation Engineer vacancies posted on:
- The Engineer
- Just Engineers
Our results showed that from these job boards a total of 325 Validation Engineer jobs were published in the last week,
- 214 permanent roles
- 111 contract roles
We previously predicted a decline in the volume of advertised roles due to the impending end of the tax year. Contrary to our expectations, last week the volume of jobs increased, especially for permanent roles. However, this week there has been a huge decline in job numbers, mostly within permanent roles, bringing the total number of IT jobs to a low not seen since early 2016. We see this as a temporary drop, with the new tax year opening new budgets and new opportunities for job seekers
