Each week CK Engineers will be trying to give you a picture of the state of one of the disciplines we work with, the Validation Engineers jobs market. Whether you are a Validation Engineer looking for a new role or an employer seeking new Validation Engineers to join your team, keeping up to date with industry news that impacts you is essential.
Our tracking is based on each week screening some of the UKs leading vacancy boards for how many Validation Engineer jobs have been advertised within the last 7 days. Please bear in mind that there is likely to be some repetition across jobs boards and some duplicate posting but our goal is to build up a picture of trends over time.
This week’s summary is for week commencing 19th July 2016 for the past week and relates to Validation Engineer vacancies posted on:
- The Engineer
- Just Engineers
Our results showed that from these job boards a total of 310 Validation Engineer jobs were published in the last week,
- 233 permanent roles
- 77 contract roles
There has been another week of decline, with a further 7% drop in jobs. This week the reduction has continued to affect permanent recruitment which has fallen by 8%, taking the total in excess of 10% over the last two weeks. However, the decline in interim roles has slowed this week to just 3%. CK’s longer term prediction for engineering jobs was that employers would be begin to favour contract employment to avoid long term planning during a period of flux. We hope this is a sign of an upturn in temporary engineering recruitment.
