Each week CK Engineers will be trying to give you a picture of the state of one of the disciplines we work with, the Validation Engineers jobs market. Whether you are a Validation Engineer looking for a new role or an employer seeking new Validation Engineers to join your team, keeping up to date with industry news that impacts you is essential.
Our tracking is based on each week screening some of the UKs leading vacancy boards for how many Validation Engineer jobs have been advertised within the last 7 days. Please bear in mind that there is likely to be some repetition across jobs boards and some duplicate posting but our goal is to build up a picture of trends over time.
This week’s summary is for week commencing 28th June 2016 for the past week and relates to Validation Engineer vacancies posted on:
- The Engineer
- Just Engineers
Our results showed that from these job boards a total of 340 Validation Engineer jobs were published in the last week,
- 238 permanent roles
- 102 contract roles
Unsurprisingly we are reporting a drop in the volume of advertised validation engineer jobs this week. With job volumes having dropped by 16%, reflected in a 9% drop in permanent roles and 27% interim. It’s clear to see the expected impact of the referendum has so far had a negative impact on engineering recruitment. Hopefully this is just a temporary glitch and some stability will resume next week.
