Each week CK Engineers will be trying to give you a picture of the state of one of the disciplines we work with, the Validation Engineers jobs market. Whether you are a Validation Engineer looking for a new role or an employer seeking new Validation Engineers to join your team, keeping up to date with industry news that impacts you is essential.
Our tracking is based on each week screening some of the UKs leading vacancy boards for how many Validation Engineer jobs have been advertised within the last 7 days. Please bear in mind that there is likely to be some repetition across jobs boards and some duplicate posting but our goal is to build up a picture of trends over time.
This week’s summary is for week commencing 6th July 2016 for the past week and relates to Validation Engineer vacancies posted on:
- The Engineer
- Just Engineers
Our results showed that from these job boards a total of 366 Validation Engineer jobs were published in the last week,
- 264 permanent roles
- 102 contract roles
Validation Engineering recruitment, despite last week’s blip, really doesn’t seem to be affected by the referendum. Following last week’s decline there has been a 7% increase this week, with permanent roles growing by 10% and interim roles remaining the same. Whilst this doesn’t return numbers to what we saw the week before last, it does indicate that recruitment has not suffered since the results were announced as the pattern of behaviour reflects what we have been tracking since January.
