Each week CK Engineers will be trying to give you a picture of the state of one of the disciplines we work with, the Validation Engineers jobs market. Whether you are a Validation Engineer looking for a new role or an employer seeking new Validation Engineers to join your team, keeping up to date with industry news that impacts you is essential.
Our tracking is based on each week screening some of the UKs leading vacancy boards for how many Validation Engineer jobs have been advertised within the last 7 days. Please bear in mind that there is likely to be some repetition across jobs boards and some duplicate posting but our goal is to build up a picture of trends over time.
This week’s summary is for week commencing 6th June 2016 for the past week and relates to Validation Engineer vacancies posted on:
- The Engineer
- Just Engineers
Our results showed that from these job boards a total of 420 Validation Engineer jobs were published in the last week,
- 302 permanent roles
- 118 contract roles
This week there has been a further decline in engineering recruitment which has primarily impacted permanent roles, which fell by a further 5%. On the contrary there has been a small uplift in the volume of contract positions.
In the wake of the upcoming referendum, these behaviours are not unexpected and we foresee this trend continuing for the next 2 weeks.
